Chapter 01
Acceptance#
In plain languageCreating an account or signing in is acceptance of these Terms and the linked policies. Don't create an account if you don't agree.
By creating an account on djeed.com or signing in to DjeedX you agree to these Terms and to the linked Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and (where applicable) the Beta Agreement and Data Processing Agreement.
Chapter 02
The service#
In plain languagedjeed.com is the public catalog + methodology site (free to read; some datasets paid). DjeedX is the workspace product at djeedx.djeed.com — invitation-only during the private beta.
- djeed.com publishes a catalog of curated datasets, methodology documentation, and supporting materials. Public pages are free to read; some dataset access requires a paid subscription once paid plans are introduced.
- DjeedX is the workspace product at
djeedx.djeed.comwhere organisations build their own monitoring & evaluation databases on top of Djeed reference datasets. During private beta, access is by invitation only.
Chapter 03
Accounts#
In plain languageYou're responsible for keeping your sign-in safe. Tell us if it's compromised. We may suspend an account that's compromised or used to abuse the service.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend an account that has been compromised, used in violation of these Terms, or used to abuse the service.
Chapter 04
Acceptable use#
In plain languageWhat you can't do: upload special-category personal data without a separate agreement, scrape datasets you haven't subscribed to, abuse rate limits, send unsolicited marketing, or run security testing without our consent.
You agree not to:
- Upload personal data of identifiable individuals without a lawful basis
- Upload special-category data (health, ethnic origin, biometric, criminal, political, religious, sexual orientation) without a separate written agreement
- Attempt to circumvent quotas, rate limits, or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to extract bulk data from datasets you have not subscribed to
- Use the service to send unsolicited marketing or to harass others
- Run security testing without prior written authorisation
Chapter 05
Customer content#
In plain languageYou keep all rights to what you upload to DjeedX. We get a limited licence only to host and display it for you. We do not train AI models on your private workspace content.
You retain all rights to content you upload to DjeedX (forms, records, attachments). You grant Djeed a limited licence to host, replicate, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you and your authorised users. Chapter 06
Subscriptions and billing#
In plain languagePaid plans (when introduced) bill through a regulated EU payment processor. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel. DjeedX is free during the private beta; we'll give 30 days' notice and a beta-loyalty rate before charging.
Paid plans, when introduced, will be billed through a regulated EU payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. During the private beta, access to DjeedX is provided free of charge; we may begin charging in the future with at least 30 days' notice and a beta-loyalty rate offered to existing beta users.
Chapter 07
Service availability#
In plain languageDuring private beta there's no SLA — the service is provided 'as is.' Once we leave beta we'll publish a target uptime and a credit-back policy.

Chapter 08
Termination#
In plain languageYou can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for a material breach or if continued operation would put others at risk. After termination you have 30 days to export your DjeedX content.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if continued operation would expose other customers or Djeed to risk. On termination, you will have 30 days to export your workspace content; afterwards it will be deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.
Chapter 09
Liability#
In plain languageCapped at the higher of the fees you paid us in the last 12 months or €100. No liability for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data where backups were available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Djeed's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees paid to Djeed in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) €100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data where backups were available.
Chapter 10
Governing law#
In plain languageSwitzerland is the home jurisdiction. EEA consumers keep their mandatory consumer rights regardless. Forum on incorporation: the competent courts of Geneva.
Djeed operates from Switzerland. These Terms will be governed by the laws of Switzerland once the operating entity is incorporated; until then, disputes will be addressed in good faith, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights under your country of residence within the EEA. The intended forum on incorporation is the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland; we will update this page when incorporation completes.

Changes#
In plain languageMaterial changes are notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
